My goal, in participating in the Gesher network this year, is to give my students an opportunity to see Israel through the eyes of other students. As affluent as many of our congregants are, few of my students travel to Israel before high school, and many of them don't get there until they're in college or later. I would love to have them network with other kids and start to become a little more aware of the global Jewish community.
